Eli Kabillio Eli Kabillio is the president of L.E.D. Pictures and the vice-president of Mad Dog Films. Mr. Kabillio recently executive produced the independent feature film RELAX, IT'S JUST SEX (Sundance and Berlin Film Festivals) directed by P.J. Castellaneta and starring Jennifer Tilly, Lori Petty, Cynda Williams and Mitchell Anderson. In addition to producing NO ORDINARY LOVE, Mr. Kabillio produced PARANOIA (Grand Jury Prize-Atlantic City Film Festival) starring Larry Drake, Brigitte Bako and Sally Kirkland. and CRIMSON LIGHTS (Troma Films; Official Selection-Smithsonian Museum Film Series; Virginia Festival of American Film-Opening Night Film). Mr. Kabillio also recently directed and produced an hour-long documentary about trepanation titled A HOLE IN THE HEAD. Interviews were held in New York, London, Amsterdam, Washington D.C., New Orleans and Philadelphia. A HOLE IN THE HEAD is scheduled for completion in January of 1998. Mr. Kabillio is presently directing and producing THE NEW AGE: HEALTH AND WELLNESS FOR THE NEW MILLENIUM and Another HOLE IN THE HEAD, the follow-up to A HOLE IN THE HEAD. Mr. Kabillio produced URBAN LEGENDS, a television program which he created. URBAN LEGENDS was directed by Paul Sorvino and stars Paul Sorvino, Josh Hamilton, Paul Calderon, Larry Linville and Marla Maples Trump. For television, Mr. Kabillio also recently completed producing the animated short film, BORIS THE DOG, which screened at the 1998 Slamdance Film Festival. Mr. Kabillio has also acted as the Associate Producer on the Miramax Films release LIE DOWN WITH DOGS (theatrical release June 1995; Berlin Film Festival) and DELINQUENT (Beyond Films; U.S. theatrical release September 1997; Montreal Int'l Film Festival; Galway Int'l Film Festival-3rd Place; Santa Barbara Int'l Film Festival) and was the Line Producer on the feature films BACKFIRE (A-Pix; theatrical release January 1995), starring Robert Mitchum, Shelly Winters, Telly Savalas and Kathy Ireland and CYBER VENGEANCE starring Robert Davi and Mattheus Hues. In addition to his feature and television work, Mr. Kabillio has also produced and directed numerous music videos and has produced interactive CD-ROM projects, industrial films and commercials both in the United States and Japan. As an entertainment lawyer, Mr. Kabillio has served as a member of the Entertainment Law Committee of the New York County Lawyers' Association and has acted as the attorney for such award winning films as LAWS OF GRAVITY (RKO/Island Pictures), HANDGUN (Triboro Entertainment-starring Treat Williams, Michael Rappaport and Seymour Cassel) and LIVING PROOF: HIV AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS (First Run Features). Mr. Kabillio is also counsel for Xemu Records. Mr. Kabillio has been a guest professor at New York University, The New School, Film Video Arts and The School of Visual Arts. |
