Chris Stafford (ERIC)
Chris just returned from the Humana Festival of New American Plays where he originated the role of Jimmyln William Mastrsimone's new play Like Totally Weird. He will be returning to that role at the John Houseman Theatre Off-Broadway this October. He moved to New York two years ago to pursue a degree in theatre from Merymount Mannhattan College.

Tina Holmes (MAGGIE)
Tina is a graduate of Brown University where she majored in Comparitive Literature. She has been acting in New y ork for two years and is thrilled to make her feature film debut in Edge of Seventeen. She will soon be seen in the upcoming independents Star, (directed by Jette Muller) and Life in Bed (directed by Nick Lindsay).

Anderson Gabrych (ROD)
Anderson is making his film debut in Edge of Seventeen. He will soon be seen in the film Hit and Runaway. His regional theatre credits include The Two Gentlemen of Verona, The Diviners, Our Town, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Much Ado About Nothing. He can be seen this summer in the play Retail Sluts as part of the Toyota Comedy Festival. Anderson attended Bandeis University where he received an MFA in Acting.


Lea Delaria (ANGIE)

Lea is not the "girl next door ," in fact, she not even allowed in the neighborhood. She is a writer, singer, stand-up comic and actor whose brash style landed her in the world spotlight including the first appearance of an openly gay comic on national television via The Arsenio Hall Show and as a host of Comedy Central's first all-gay special Out There.

Lea's first stand-up gig was April 19S2 in San Francisco where she became an immediate hit with the gay and lesbian community. She has toured extensively through Europe, Australia, New Zealand and North America. With the release of her CD Bull Dyke in a China Shop, Lea became an award-winning cult favorite. Lea is featured in The First Wives Club, starring Diane Keaton, Goldie Hawn and Bette Midler. Her film Homo Heights, an independent feature starring Quentin Crisp, is currently on the festival circuit. Lea is currently writing the screenplay for Stone Butch Blues.

The summer of 1997 brought Lea national attention with he breakthrough role in On The Town, a public theatre production directed by George C. Wolfe for the Shakespeare in the Park Festival. Every review from the New y ork Times to Time Magazine to Variety gave Lea thunderous applause. She won an Obie award and a Theatre World Award for her performance. On the Town opened on Broadway in September, 1995. Lea recently performed the encore series production of Li'l Abner in the role of Marryin ' Sam. Her new CD box lunch, is one of th best selling releases in Rising Star's history.

Stephanie Mc V ay (MOM)
Born in Hawaii and raised in Noerthem California, Stephanie made her acting debut (and learned to roar) as the Cowardly Lion in a local childrens production of The Wizard ofOz. Regional credits include the West Coast premieres of Arthur Miller's Broken Glass and Jordon Robert's At the Still Point, as well as Nunsense, Steel Magnolias, and The Imaginary Invalid. Stephanie received Elly Awards for Best Actress for her roles in Shirley Valentine and Frankie & Johnny. She is overjoyed to be making her film debut in Edge of Seventeen.
